As an internet marketer, I’ve found that being able to hide my IP address can give me a few advantages. For one, I can create several accounts for websites. Sometimes, social networking and blogging sites will only allow you one account per user. I’ve read that gaming sites are like this as well. With a VPN to hide your IP address, you can use several different IP addresses to access accounts, and like/+1 your sites from several ‘different’ users. The other problem I’ve run into before, is unfairly being labeled a spammer on forums. Putting a link in your signature is cool in some circles, and not in others. Some forum moderators are ruthless, blocking your IP and not responding to emails. With a change of IP, you can solve this problem.
